Wow! What kind of paint did you use? How does it feel? Comfortable to sit on? I buy pieces for the shop that won't come clean. This would work! Yey! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI was just about to ask the same question - just regular semi gloss interior paint worked? Is it stiff? It looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteI have a similar question- did you paint it with a brush not spray paint, right? It looks fantastic. Will it be at your shop?
ReplyDeleteOMgoodness...T sent me, Love this!!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of paint did you use and was it by brush?
Well looks like we all want to know more. It looks great. Would love to know type of paint also and brush or spray? Hope to see an answer.

"Mr. GloryB" how cute! Such a great idea; can't wait until I have a porch so I can put one of these on it!
ReplyDeleteOk I have the same question, is it really stiff to sit on and won't the paint crack? I love how it turned out it looks amazing! Please let us know, Laura
ReplyDeleteI just found you at Common Ground and have to tell you that I LOVE this idea. It appears you've used an interior semi gloss paint... It's hard to wrap my mind around, but I'm going to give it a try on a small foot stool. Thank YOU for the inspiration!

Oh how temping, I just see it taking so long to dry. If I was to do this project it would have to be on a sun shinning day. I love the effect....thanks for sharing and giving us some tips. Kathy
ReplyDeletePlease oh please give us all of the details and answers to all of the questions because this is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I have two tufted loveseats and it's not in the budget to slipcover them at this time - but I can definitely afford to paint them! My main concern is the comfort factor and peeling paint.
